A graphics card overclocking tutorial using MSI Afterburner and MSI Kombuster. I try to keep it as simple as I can, but once you start increasing core voltage on your graphics card, there is no real rules that you can stick to. The only thing you can do is watch your temperatures, keep increasing your voltage and frequency and watch for signs of instability. You can get a massive performance increase out of overclocking your graphics card, mainly with newer graphics cards. I take no responsibility for damaged hardware caused by overclocking. I hope this video helps people out. You will find up to date versions of both applications if you scroll down on this Guru3d downloads page: downloads.guru3d.com If you enjoyed this video please subscribe to my channel.

Full guide – www.eteknix.com When someone mentions the word “overclocking” we instinctively start thinking about a processor and how high we can ramp the bus speed and multiplier up to give the best possible speed. This of course gives you better value for money as you’ll end up having a product that goes faster than what you paid for. Result! Processors aren’t the only thing that can be overclocked though. There’s memory and of course graphics cards, but for some reason graphics or video cards don’t get much attention when it comes to overclocking and we have a theory as to why. Processors, for instance, are generally aimed at a market which lets people purchase them and do as they please whereas graphics cards have more specific models aimed at pre-overclocking and super-overclocked editions and turbo models and so forth. This takes the fun and enjoyment away from the user and even these ramped up pre-overclocked cards generally still have a bit more juice left in them to unleash by the user. I finally show some before and after performance for the GTS 450 OC Cyclone OC, and this finally concludes my Linus Tech Tips coverage of this new card.
I think in future I’ll stick to my normal style of unboxings, feature demonstrations, etc… When I try to throw it all together into a review, it comes out a little weird. Consider this episode a “limited edition”
