How this card handles Battlefield 3: www.youtube.com Quick test of the Dell XPS 15 (Intel i5 core processor, 4GB RAM) with 4 games downloaded from steam. This is the standard graphics chip that comes with the Dell XPS 15, if you are willing to pay and extra £65 for the laptop, you can upgrade the GC to the 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 550M. I didn’t feel the need, but it WILL run smoother. Summary: Homefront – Medium 30fps+ Bulletstorm – Medium 30fps+ Just Cause 2 – Medium/Low 30fps+ Sanctum – Very High 30fps+ Other games I have played on this laptop: Team Fortress 2 – Very High 30fps+ Duke Nukem Forever – Medium 30fps Call of Juarez: BiB – High 30fps+ More Info on this card: www.notebookcheck.net Dell XPS 15 – Intel i5 Core processor 4GB RAM

Today we’re un boxing the EVGA GT 520 dual dvi video card. Model # 01G-P3-1526-KR Overall it’s a decent video card for offices however it’s definitely not a gaming video card. If you’re looking for a card in the same price range as this one that offers the same features I would look at the GT 430 or GT 440 from EVGA it’s only a few dollars more but the performance you get compared to this 520 is huge. Pros. Very small Quiet surprisingly Runs Cold Good playback and office use. Cons Low scores on windows testing Not much of a gamer Not that great for the price. All and all evga has released a solid product however I can’t justify myself spending this much on a 520 when the 430 is nearly twice is fast for an extra 10 dollars. I believe the price on the video card needs to go down further to get sales.
