How to overclock your video card – AMD HD4670

Originally this video was about overclocking the HD4670, since overclocking any GPU is basically the same process the title has been changed. As an example, here’s how to overclock AMD’s Radeon HD4670 512Mb. But a similar process can be used for almost any video card. Also, I had to change the original soundtrack because at the time I was being considered for partnership. *Below is original video info from 2009* Launched in 2008, the HD4670 is a decent mid-range card for the price, after 2 years now, you might still have it, and there’s new games out but you want better performance without getting another card. Well, without upgrading, overclocking is your best option! In this video you will see exactly how far the HD4670 can go, as far as stable gaming is concerned. ======================== To overclock your GPU you will need software to do so. But you ask “Why not use overdrive in the Catalyst?” Well, it’s limited. So if you are using a 32-Bit OS you can go and get ATI Tray Tools. If you are using 64-Bit you will have to use Riva Tuner. Both apps are simple to use, provided you don’t excessively OC the GPU/MEM. To monitor and check accurate speeds I recommend getting GPU-Z. It does it all in one app. —————————————— Download links:::: ATI Tray Tools (If using 32-Bit OS):** www.guru3d.com Riva Tuner (If using 64-Bit OS): www.guru3d.com GPU-Z: www.techpowerup.com ** If ATI Tray Tools won’t work for you, just download RivaTuner as it works on any

Crysis Very High @ 1920×1080 on ATI Radeon HD 5850 – Benchmarks

Crysis v1.2 All Very High 0xAA 1920×1080 -System Information -Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit -AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition -Cooler Master V8 CPU cooler -4GB Corsair XMS3 1333MHz in dual-channel -Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 (775/1125 OC) -Catalyst 10.2 -GIGABYTE GA-MA790XT-UD4P mobo -WD Caviar Blue 500GB SATA II -Corsair TX750W PSU -Cooler Master CM Storm Scout case -Samsung P2250 21.5″ 1080p monitor -Logitech MX518 mouse -Logitech Media Keyboard 600 -Logitech X-140 Speakers Crysis does pretty well with this card – even better in-game. To avoid the bugs of v1.2 in Windows 7, I rin the game in compatibility mode for Vista and get no flaws. I also removed all of the cheats when I play now. Recently, I got Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Crysis Warhead (recently as in the time I uploaded this video) – I may do some videos of them too. Crysis Warhead gets so many more frames than vanilla Crysis – BFBC2 runs flawlessly and is UBER FUN ONLINE!!! I’m rapljwop on there too if you want to add me – I play mainly Squad Deathmatch and Rush.
